Send a document by email for approval |
You can send an Adobe PDF document as an email attachment for others to approve. As each approver receives the PDF document, they forward it to the next approver. The final approver completes the approval by sending the PDF document to the approval initiator.
When an approver opens the email attachment, the PDF document appears with special instructions. The Stamps palette also opens to display digital identity stamps that approvers select and apply to the document.
Acrobat provides a wizard that helps you set up an approval workflow.
To initiate an approval workflow:
Choose Send By Email For Approval from the Send For Review task button.
Follow the onscreen instructions to select a PDF document, invite the first approver, and send the email message and attachment.
